Biography

Dr. Li Xue is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), a licensed acupuncturist in New York State, a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner, and a certified professional of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She holds a NY state-approved cosmetology license since 2001. She graduated with honors from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM), earning both a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and a Master’s degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She also obtained her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego. In addition, Dr. Li gained clinical experience at Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou Municipal Hospital, and Mentougou Chinese Medicine Hospital in Beijing.

She has held a New York State cosmetology license since 2002 and gained extensive experience in TCM beauty treatments.

Since 2017, Dr. Li has actively promoted public awareness of acupuncture and has participated in and hosted specialized continuing education courses in the field. She is dedicated to providing high-quality treatment services and professional expertise. Alongside her private practice, she has served as the Clinical Director of Training at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2024. Her commitment to community service includes volunteering at acupuncture clinics, for which she has received multiple commendations from U.S. Congressional representatives, the New York State Assembly, and the New York City Council.

Dr. Li currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Acupuncture of America Practice Individual Association, where she continues her efforts to further the development of the acupuncture profession by raising public awareness of its benefits and promoting its standardization in the broader healthcare market.
